30+ years, 1000+ students👨🏻‍🏫

I have 30+ years in teaching more than 1000+ students. It all started from my first office hours with my classmate Andreu (Hope you are doing great, Andreu!) My first student Andreu passed the class with good grades, which brought me more students.
I decided to start office hours for more students, including my two sons who succeeded in their school work, SAT and AP tests. I'm happy that I can help them with not only their academic scores, but also the feeling of achievement, which is fundamental of success in their future. I'd love to unfold their full potential and see how far they can go!

College Instructor📚

For the last 10 years, I've been teaching physics at college as an instructor. My main concern was to overcome the limit of crowded classrooms. I stay longer when class is over to answer questions. The door of my office is always open to students who have questions about lecture or just chat about their career. Interacting with students made me realize the importance of office hours to help their learning, which inspired me to launch Sergi's Office Hours online!

Rocket Scientist✨

I'm not only teaching at college, but also researching in astronomy. I'd love to invite my students to free observation sessions that I host at the end of every quarter(subject to change due to weather.) We'll look at the sky with my telescope and talk about fun facts, mysteries and stories in science. You're welcome to bring your family as well as siblings!

5 languages🌍

One fun fact about me is that I speak 5 languages --- Catalan, Spanish, English, German and French. I'm studying Korean as my 6th language ;) Our classes will be taught mostly in English!
